Output console
Global Master mixer plus 10 channels with VU meters, per-fader MIDI Learn, channel linking, and copy/paste of settings to a cue's mixer.
👁
Video preview
Check the content and calibration of a video cue on the real output screen, with a visual marker, without firing the cue in the sequence.
Advanced sequencing
Auto-follow, auto-continue, pre/post-waits, list or simultaneous groups, jumps within the sequence (GoTo) and triggers independent of the playhead (Play/Pause). Build complex shows with precision.
Playback speed
Set playback speed from 0.25x to 4x on your Audio and Video cues, including gradual change through a Fade cue.

17 cue types,
one unified logic.

Each cue triggers one precise action. Chain them to build your show.

Close-up: Fade Cue

The Fade cue targets any Audio, Video or Image cue currently playing and smoothly animates one or several of these parameters at once, over an adjustable duration:

🔊 Volume (master or channel by channel, independently)
🌗 Opacity (video or image targets)
📐 Width/height scale, with or without locked proportions
🎯 X/Y position in pixels
🔄 3D rotation on the X, Y and Z axes
⏹ Automatic stop of the target at the end of the fade (optional)

Without automatic stop, the Fade cue stays active and its target values remain adjustable live for as long as the media plays.

From rehearsal
to opening night.

  1. 01

    Compose your show

Build your cue sequence in the interface. Drag and drop to reorder, automatic numbering.

  2. 02

    Set up the surfaces

Define your audio and video outputs, calibrate your projection surfaces with keystone and warp mesh.

  3. 03

    Rehearse and refine

Test each cue, fine-tune timings with pre/post-waits, set up automatic chaining.

  4. 04

    Run the show live

One press of the space bar for GO. The engine handles transitions, fades and chaining automatically.

For audio: MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG and every format supported by soundfile/libsndfile. For video: MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV and formats compatible with Qt Multimedia. For images: PNG, JPG, BMP, GIF (still) and other common formats. For live network streams (Stream cue): RTSP, RTMP, SRT, RIST, UDP/RTP, TCP and HLS.

Yes. JustMakeQ includes an OSC server that accepts the commands /jmq/go, /jmq/stop, /jmq/pause (as well as /jmq/next and /jmq/cue/go to target a specific cue) from any OSC application on the local network.

Yes, through the HTTP cue type: a network request fired like any other cue, with ready-made templates for vMix, WLED, Bitfocus Companion, Philips Hue, Shelly, Home Assistant, Discord, n8n, Pushover, ntfy and Avolites Titan. Handy for syncing a video mixer, connected lighting, or sending an alert to the control booth at the right point in the sequence.

Yes. The Stream cue displays a live network feed (IP camera, encoder, mixer) on your projection surfaces over RTSP, RTMP, SRT, RIST, UDP/RTP, TCP or HLS, with the same geometry and effects as regular video cues. For pan/tilt/zoom control, JustMakeQ offers a VISCA-over-IP cue, an ONVIF cue, and a ready-made HTTP template for PTZOptics and compatible cameras.

JustMakeQ is available in 8 languages: French, English, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Italian, Chinese and Korean. You can switch language from the start screen or the preferences, without restarting the software.

Yes, JustMakeQ is actively developed. Updates are included with the licence. Several projects are under way: spherical rendering (360° mode), a multi-station collaborative session (coworking) letting several operators run the same show over the network, and a remote control API for mobile (Android, iPhone) and desktop applications. You can send suggestions and bug reports through the support portal from your account area. We listen to our community continuously to guide new features.

JustMakeQ lets you define several projection surfaces. Each surface has advanced geometric controls: 3D rotation (X, Y, Z), 4-point keystone correction, grid-based warp mesh, edge blending for multi-projector setups and overscan adjustment.
